The leadership of the Amalgamated All Progressives Congress (APC) support groups has dissociated itself from a statement published in an online news medium, award.com [https://awardnobs.com/support-group-to-tinubu-how-can-you-withhold-appointments-after-we-stole-and-borrowed-to-elect-you-president/]

The news article with the bogus title, “Support Group to Tinubu: How Can You Withhold Appointments After We “Stole” and Borrowed to Elect You President” was published by awardsnobs.com and credited to a group, which goes by the name G36 Renewed Hope Support Group.

The leadership of the Amalgamated All Progressives Congress (APC) support groups which dissociated its self the said support group also distanced itself from the news story describing it as the handiwork of malicious jobless individuals whose motive was aimed at smearing the name of the entire embodiment of all legitimate APC support groups under the auspices of the Hajiya Maryam Yunusa Danjaki- led Amalgamated All Progressives Congress (APC) support groups.

Speaking with newsmen, a spokesman of the Amalgamated APC support groups, stated that the sincere efforts of the various support groups of the party worked assiduously with all sense of loyalty towards the victory of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the 2023 polls, stressing that at no time did any support group or the Umbrella body present such claims as posited in the report. He stressed that the candidate of the APC campaigned vigorously and won the trust of the majority of Nigerians who entrusted him with their votes to become the president of the country adding that no party supporter was mandated or used to rig any election as claimed in the news story by the so-called G36 Renewed Hope Support Group.

The Hajiya Maryam Yunusa Danjaki- led Amalgamated All Progressives Congress (APC) support groups however, reiterated their unalloyed support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu saying, that it was their firm belief that the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu they knew was a man of integrity and knew how to reward hard work.

Some of the leaders of the Amalgamated APC support groups who spoke independently to our correspondent expressed confidence that at the due time they would all be rewarded and therefore had no reason to bicker or blackmail any leader of the party over their being rewarded.
