NLC BOSS, JOE AJAERO, RELEASED AFTER HONORING POLICE INVITATION

The President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Joe Ajaero, has been released after visiting the Intelligence Response Team (IRT) Headquarters today, August 29.

Ajaero was invited by the police last week to answer questions on alleged involvement in terrorism financing, cybercrime, subversion, criminal conspiracy, and treasonable felony.

He arrived at the IRT premises at 10:17 am alongside his legal team, including Femi Falana, SAN, and other senior NLC officials.

Ajaero's release comes after a brief interrogation, and the NLC has confirmed his return to the NLC headquarters. The IRT is the Force Intelligence Bureau of the Nigeria Police Force, responsible for investigating high-profile cases.

Stay tuned for further updates on this developing story.
